There are three alcoves with additional ammo besides the boxed coverings. The left and top left alcoves are blocked by a line of cover containing ammo boxes. Getting Stonecrop to destroy these can be tricky since you can’t hide behind cover. It requires precise dodging, which is challenging under pressure.
Instead, rely on artillery to clear these alcoves for you. Timing is essential, as there will be a delay before the next artillery strike. Make sure you are near the covering you want destroyed when the next strike occurs. Lastly, the top right alcove contains a shotgun skeleton with an ammo box for you to grab.

Just roughly time her reload and hit bullet time when you feel like she's going for another shot. Dodge it one way, and immediately turn back to pass back through the trail of the cannonball. It'll bounce towards you, and you'll just be able to dodge it if you keep going. IE Dodge left as the cannonball comes towards you, then immediately head right once it's past you, and keep going right until the cannonball bounce is past you again.
Yarrow in Deathblossom
Overview of the Battle
Yarrow is the final boss in Deathblossom, and his battle consists of several stages. Each stage introduces new mechanics and challenges that you must overcome to defeat him.
Initial Attack Patterns
The fight begins with warnings when vines emerge from the sides, threatening to kill you. After this, Yarrow will send two vines from right to left, which move up and down with a gap between them.
Weak Points and Dodging
As the battle progresses, Death will advise you to save your bullets for Yarrow’s weak points. Shortly after this warning, he will unleash an undodgable vine moving from right to left. To make this vine disappear, you need to shoot three flowers that grow during this phase.
Movement Strategy
Throughout the fight, Yarrow will be chasing you. It’s crucial to keep moving left to avoid his attacks. There will be occasional pauses in his movement, likely depending on the damage he has taken. Use these moments to shoot as much ammo at his mouth as possible. You can stop shooting the mouth when Death warns you to save your bullets.
Dealing with Blooms
In the second section and beyond, blooms may appear that can either pop up or burrow into the ground. These blooms can block your bullets and impede your movement. You can prevent them from causing issues by shooting them, regardless of their state. This is especially helpful for escaping the vines.
Tips for Success
Patience is key in this battle. Avoid being too greedy for ammo boxes, as there are plenty available throughout the stage. Taking unnecessary risks can lead to your downfall. Simply focusing on survival will often get you further in the fight. During the second stage, be cautious of ammo boxes near the top or bottom of the screen, as vines can quickly approach from those areas.
Final Advice
As you near the end of the stage, be careful not to go to the top left before the screen stops moving. Doing so may get you stuck behind some vines, preventing you from shooting the weak points and leading to your defeat.
