Have you ever dreamed of being in a fairy tale? To play as a princess, to take revenge on your stepmother for forbidding you and the whole kingdom to have a good time with all the passers-by? It doesn’t matter, you’ll probably enjoy Wanderlust anyway.
The plot of the game is a parody of a Disney fairy tale for girls. Our main character is a princess, and she wants everything from life, all, yes, more and soon, but the kingdom after the death of his father is ruled by a stepmother, who does not share our views. And only ours – the whole kingdom is sitting at home in fear, because they are simply forbidden to have intercourse!
The princess decides to leave the castle and sings a song about how many dicks she needs for a happy life. With such a song on her lips, we will leave home to taste all the joys of adulthood on our own.
Gameplay in Wanderlust
Under our control falls the princess, the main task is to explore the world, plus small battles with enemies in turn-based mode.
Enemies are finite, and therefore there are no problems with them, the boon of exploring locations generously endows our princess with various potions and additional abilities. In addition, always at hand is our little naked fake, able to raise the pillar of khp almost from zero to maximum in one hit.
Role-playing component is practically not brought in. Yes, there is a system of level dialing. Well, we sort of change costumes, bracelets, etc., but the gameplay itself is practically unaffected. Since the main gameplay – the exploration of locations, if you explore every corner of the world, the heroine by default will always be hung with top-notch clothes, well, except for locations where we are not allowed to wear clothes….
Eventually, the princess will be joined by companions, making Wanderlust look like a pretty good Jrpg. Not bad within the genre of adult games, of course =).
Pros and cons
The combat system in the game is almost the weakest point. There is a feeling that it is absolutely superfluous here, or just not finalized. This combat sometimes makes you want to sleep. The camera gets stuck, and sometimes there is no animation of the enemies’ combat.
The second weak point of Wanderlust is the engine. No matter what fans of Unity 3D say, you have to admit that most games on it with any sane graphics suffer in terms of optimization, even when they don’t show a serious picture. The closest example is Lust From Beyond, where the developers were able to hollow out detailed 4k models of teapots and phalluses, but never managed the facial animation.
Come on, it doesn’t matter at all in Wanderlust. The main characters are well drawn and animated, and the princess is great! All the left NPCs are covered in soap, but again, you won’t give a shit once you play the game with sound, because the voice acting in Wanderlust….Divine!
Seriously =) Sometimes in a game of 18+ scenes you wait not so much for the content, but for the voice of the main character. The developer didn’t just write down a couple of oohs and ahhs, the girl on the voice acting here really plays a role and becomes the most marvelous miracle in this magical land. Individually, with feeling, voiced every scene. Play with sound only!
The developer also hints that you should play the game with sound, most likely intentionally not including subtitles in the game. By the way, the game is in English, the language is quite simple, but you will have to understand the plot by ear.
Jerkability
It’s not often you see an “A” on our site. Before the first sex scene, the desire to delete the game was almost irresistible. It’s all about partially deceived expectations – for some reason I was expecting to see WhoreCraft, where you can’t take a step without stumbling into another scene. But it’s worth getting to at least the first…
A world of beauty will open up to your eyes (and ears). I don’t know how it worked for me – after all, I’m already experienced in these moments. Most likely, I was struck by the interactivity, many scenes in Wanderlust have simple mini-games sewn in, and the voice actor plays along with your actions so much that not only you, but also your neighbors are likely to get erections.
Despite all the technical imperfections – for the striking effect, the abundance and variety of scenes, for the passion and good approach to adult content – 5 ❤❤❤❤❤ Jerkability out of 5.
Verdict
Definitely recommended. The game may look crooked and slanted, and that’s partly true. Gameplay elements need some tweaking, but everything about WanderLust’s adult content is smartly done.
