Tuition Academia is a rather modest game in terms of the work done, but it still deserves your attention. It is written in RenPy and essentially copies elements of other games centered on a similar theme. And the theme here is the gradual corruption of our protagonist in order to get as many scenes of “adult” character as possible.
About gameplay in Tuition Academia
Since we have RenPy here – most of the gameplay consists of clicking through dialogs with rare choices. There are no forks in Tuition Academia, so the choice is usually to “give” or refuse.
There is no plot in the game – from the start we are told about the need to save up a certain amount of money to pay for college. However, there are no deadlines, limits and restrictions. The main task of the game is to turn an innocent girl into a real whore against the backdrop of her money problems. That is such a…simplified simulator of a harlot.
From the very beginning of the game our heroine, as usual, is a virgin, however, since we need to earn money, literally every action in the game brings her closer and closer to actions of varying degrees of liberation.
Between locations we, as usual, move with the help of the city map. At each location, the heroine will find adventures for herself. As time goes by, more and more explicit scenes will be revealed, and that’s pretty much it.
Jerkability
Despite the rather primitive gameplay, Tuition Academia actually has a pretty good Jerkability =). Mainly due to the good drawing – personally I liked the heroine. But what I really didn’t like was the extremely scarce number of scenes….totally not.
The thing is that there is a lot of razzrat in the game, wherever you go – everywhere they molest and try to defame, but the result of almost every such action will be exactly the same H-scene, just in other scenery or in other clothes. As a result – by the middle of the game, when you’ve already seen all the sweetest artwork in the game, the “mood” drops a bit, as you begin to realize that you won’t see anything new anymore.
But it’s still possible to fan Tuition Academia =) I give it 3 ❤❤❤ Jerkability out of 5.
Verdict
All in all, Tuition Academia shows itself quite well as an evening game. It’s not as global as, for example, Love & Sex: Second Base, it doesn’t have a story like The Wind’s Disciple, and it’s not as beautiful as Island of lust. All of the above games are similar in genre and content.
The fact that Tuition Academia doesn’t have a sensible plot is perhaps even a plus, because the game is entirely in English. For a comfortable game it is enough to know the language at least on a basic level. Given that no decisions in the game affect anything and have no consequences (except pregnancy), there is no point in getting into the local mechanics.
Since for Russian users there is no possibility to buy the game on Steam now – you can find a link to it below. Even if Steam agrees with everyone and resumes sales – I wouldn’t recommend to buy this game for its full price. Better buy the same Island Of lust or Treasure of Nadia, their cost is exactly the same, but there is much more Jerkability).
