Insexual Awakening Game Review

People often come to my site trying to find a walkthrough for Insexual Awakening. I admit honestly – all this time I thought that they actually made a typo when they searched for a walkthrough on Insexsity. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that I was not only mistaken, but also missed such a popular game in narrow circles)

Unlike other games on the site, this time I most likely will not attach screenshots in terms of gameplay and fappability. The thing is that Insexual Awakening walks on very thin ice, and this ice is something between a schoolboy’s dream of spying on his sister and an adult’s dream of watching modern streams with girls.

Plot. We are a young guy on vacation, living with his mother, older sister and our twin sister of the same age. Our sister looks exactly the same as us – 12-14 years old, she wants to become a streamer and we, of course, will keep her company… Only our sister decides to stream in her underwear in order to attract additional subscribers, completely not understanding and not realizing what this can lead to. During the game, we have to seduce… here is the list.

1. Mother. 2. Older sister. 3. Twin sister. 4. Cousin. 5. Cousin’s aunt-mother. 6. Adult manager. 7. Some chick from a public toilet. 8. Our grandmother =)

Yeah, despite the fact that the game says the characters are 100% 18 years old, they look like they’re 14 at most, which makes you draw a parallel with Summer Memories . However, considering that according to the plot, the main character will sign a legally significant contract with a streaming company, I have a theory about why they look so young.

The Theory Behind Insexual Awakening

Let’s assume that all the characters in the game are adults. In this case, we get the fact that all the characters in Insexual Awakening are simply underdeveloped. Probably, you and your sister spent the first 18 years in a special boarding school for gifted people. Perhaps that is why you and your sister suddenly decide to make money on streams. The genetic mutation affected not only the mental abilities of the main character, but also physical attributes – that’s why you and your sister did not grow up. Since genes are to blame for everything, then most likely all our relatives also suffer from this affliction and therefore do not shine with intelligence, which justifies their behavior throughout the game.

Only with such an attitude and attitude towards the characters can you play Insexual Awakening with pleasure =). When I described the local plot to my girlfriend, she accused the game of all mortal sins in absentia, because pedfiles and insect lovers are bad. I agree with her, but the developer warned – everyone in the game is 18 years old. It’s just that everyone in the game is gifted.

Gameplay

Insexual Awakening is a visual novel on RenPy, with European drawing and mini-games. Our task is to visit locations daily and pay attention to the ladies – for which we will always be rewarded with the development of the plot.

Relationship development is achieved by making the right choices in dialogues or by playing simple mini-games. Mini-games not only increase the level of relationships, but also give you a little bit of money that can be spent in a very useful local store. They sell there… relationship points =) So, you are given a choice. If you don’t like playing mini-games, choose the simplest one and just buy relationship points. Thanks to this mechanic, it is simply impossible to lose in Insexual Awakening, and I can’t understand for the life of me why people google the walkthrough of this game.

The game has a small and simple development mechanic. For example, until someone decides to taste the main character’s pod, a scene with another willing one will not appear. Otherwise, everything comes down to a simple scheme.

Just click on locations with that “something new” icon and enjoy the storyline. Not enough relationship points with a certain girl? Go play her minigame, or buy her points with the $ you’ve already earned. Easy, though…

Jerkability

In my humble opinion, discussing the Jerkability of this game is a bit wrong) But let’s try… In general, if you read the dialogues, there is a reaction. The drawing style is questionable, sometimes the art is very good, but in 50% of cases, what is happening on the screen will cause cognitive dissonance.

The thing is, the main character… doesn’t look mature. He looks like a short, underdeveloped person who has never touched himself “down there,” and his sister acts exactly the same way, surprised by the “Strange white sticky thing.” Now imagine that you have to consider this person an adult, and what’s more, in the art you will be constantly reminded how young he is. The girls participating in the scenes will constantly pay attention to the “pod” and call it divine beauty, admire it in every possible way and want more and more.

Nevertheless, there is something to praise the game for. In addition to the classic static drawing, Insexual Awakening sometimes surprises with sudden animations, and in general it is interesting to follow the development of relationships in this game, especially if you fence yourself off from world standards and prejudices.

Perceiving the game as just a fantasy on the theme of “I am the younger brother who got lucky”, you can quite enjoy it. But the aftertaste from the unusualness of what is happening still does not leave. I will give it… 3 ❤❤❤ for Jerkability out of 5. I chose several moments where the main character does not stand out so much with his immaturity, purely to give you the opportunity to appreciate the drawing:

Verdict

Overall, I liked it. It’s much better than a “standard” RenPy novella, where there is no gameplay at all. Here it is, although simple and not intense. Insexual Awakening as a game… is not for everyone, but overall you can fap once. The game takes about 4 hours to complete, play or not play – it’s up to you, it does not grab any stars from the sky, rather a regular run-of-the-mill, but not drawn out and finished.
