Lilly Knight and the Three Cities of Lust Game Review

It’s never happened before, and here it is again. The world is in danger! Demons, always breaking into our world, have opened gates in peaceful cities and stolen the princes of local settlements. Nothing will stop the invasion of demons, except, of course, our heroine. It is necessary to free all the princes and sleep with them to close the gate and forever forget about the invasion of evil.

Lilly knight is a typical representative of “Unity 3D games”, which I honestly hate a lot. It’s because as a rule, these games are nothing but a hodgepodge of mechanics with custom textures stretched on free assemblies.

Lilly knight is the first game from the developers who gave us the pretty good WanderLust. In the review on WanderLust I gave it 5 Jerkability ❤ for its great voice acting and not bad visual style. In themselves, both games by this developer are very similar.

Gameplay at Lilly Knight

What do we have? The gameplay is divided into two stages – exploring locations and killing monsters. Lilly Knight does not require any gamer skills from the player and does not challenge you. The locations in the game are a linear gut, on which enemies of equal difficulty are carefully nailed to the ground.

Unlike the upcoming game, there is a lot to explore in Lilly Knight. There are sometimes chests hidden in the locations, which unlock additional poses in the scenes.

The battles themselves are turn-based, but too simple. In fact, we have only three commands – strike, heal and sneak strike, which, unlike a regular strike, never misses. We don’t have any inventory, abilities and everything that the developers “invented” in WanderLust. It turns out that if you simply do not avoid fights, the heroine will always be leveled up with the enemies.

The entire game is divided into zones. As the name suggests – three “cities of lust” await our visit. At the end of each of them there is a boss and a scene with the prince(s). You will be waiting for good graphics, glitchy camera, good humor and really wooden animation of everything except the combat.

The game runs for about 3-4 hours and in terms of gameplay isn’t too bad to be terrible, but it doesn’t present anything to surprise the average gamer either.

Jerkability

At the very beginning of the game the red balloon tells us that we are going on an adventure to fill the world with passion and vulgarity, but our way in this game is more like a child’s prank, because the vulgarity itself is simply not enough. I didn’t get the feeling that the heroine wants anything done to her =) That’s a problem. In addition, the mini-games built into the scenes, the logic of which is not quite clear to me. Mini-games are good when properly embedded in the gameplay, but here they are just a piece of junk, designed to stretch the erotic moment. It’s a waste.

Even more disappointing is the fact that the main character of Lilly knight was voiced by the same girl as the protagonist in the future game. No, it’s not that she voiced her badly – here, as well as in WanderLust, there is nothing wrong with the voice acting (I wonder how exactly all these sounds were recorded?). The main problem of the game is character models and their animations. That is, despite the good graphics and still cool voice acting, the dick does not stand up, because the moans of GG do not coincide with what happens on the screen. And what happens on the screen is, in fact, the friction of soulless wood against various kinds of knots.

At times it feels like the heroine is just a blow-up doll. Add to it soulless facial expressions, inherent in all games on Unity 3D and imagine if you can Fap on it. Most likely not – you can only giggle a little at the ridiculous poses the models take here. And it’s a shame, because on Unity you can make good erotic scenes, but in Lilly Knight the developers failed to do it. Apparently, they didn’t have enough experience, and that’s why it’s maximum 2 ❤❤ Jerkability out of 5. The game stupidly does not fulfill its purpose, and also as a game is not very =).

Verdict

Primitive gameplay and lack of normal erotic content does not give the game any chance. It can be seen that Lilly knight is just a test of the pen. That is the first game of a rather green developer. The attempt, of course, praiseworthy, but a failure in all directions. Thankfully, the developers came to their senses in the future by releasing WanderLust, which also has problems with the combat system and some scenes, but the level of direction, general mood and tone of gameplay in it is much higher. Both games are available on Steam, but WanderLust is the only one I can recommend. Lilly Knight will not give you absolutely no new sensations, you can play it only from absolute idleness and, maybe, from an irresistible desire to watch puppet friction.
